Great video. I agree with the quality vs quantity piece. However I will say that as someone who has more recently started growing my channel (1.5k to 13k in the last few months) there is definitely a benefit in the infancy of your channel to create a volume + variety of content, track the analytics, and then double down on the videos that DO work. The fastest way to figure this out is through volume. Now that I know what works for my channel I have significantly slowed down volume but in the beginning it can definitely be helpful 😊

Absolutely agree about ditching your niche. You get married to a niche and when it doesn't work out or you outgrow it, it becomes a problem. You become stuck. I also was like no no you have to niche down. But that later on becomes a hindrance.

For the intro videos, I’ve looked up stuff like “welcome to my fitness channel” before. It’s definitely cool to see new content on YouTube that way. But yeah, it’s DEFINITELY a fantastic idea to just jump right into the fashion advice, self-improvement tips, sit-down talking fitness videos, you name it.

Perfect timing.
