John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) was one of the featured heels on WWE TV in the late 90's and 2000's. When he became a singles star, he became one of the biggest heels in the company. However, some would say that he was also a big heel behind the scenes. Over the years, there have been many stories about JBL's ribs/bullying of other talent and staff in the company. Those names include referees Billy Silverman and Charles Robinson, The Blue Meanie, Renee Dupree, Mark Henry, The Miz, ring announcer Justin Roberts, Mark Henry and former WWE commentator Mauro Ranallo. But on one night, someone stood up to JBL. That man was none other than legendary ECW announcer Joey Styles.

With all the attention of Joey Styles being a bad ass (to which I am proud of Joey for standing up for himself), there's another story people missed. JBL is kinda weak minded. He allowed himself to be pressured to drink by his peers that made fun of him.

I don't beleive JBL is a bully, according to Brock Lesnar on a interview, he said that JBL is not his friend but has always been very nice to him.
