The 1906 Southern Hotel is getting ready for new windows and interior cleanup, just waiting for warmer weather. I'm exploring how the new windows are going to go in, and final removal of the 1960's vintage interior design.

The way you are doing the demo work is very refreshing from the typical blow it up and start over method that you see on many of the TV shows. Maybe you can find a couple of high school students who will do the cleanup work for you. I think that hotel will be beautiful when you have finished it and will enjoy watching you remodel it.

So glad to hear you were able to get your range of motion back to your shoulder. My father who was was a water well driller and a boom came down on his back and shoulder. He never recovered from that injury and his shoulder was his biggest complaint. It bothered him for for nearly 30 years before he passed in 1994. You have been blessed.

My brother and I used to take about four of those old window counter-weights, put them in an old burlap seed bag and use them for body building weights. Back in the 50's proper store bought weights were only at Montgomery Ward and Dad said if you want to build your body, do some work around the farm! LOL!

Running out of demo work is nice to see in your situation. Now comes the fun part of putting the puzzle back together with the original picture. You'll do a great job of this we are sure. i spent about 14 months remodeling a 100 year plus lathe and plaster house. in its day it was a magnificent well built house owned by a very well off professional person.this was in Toledo ohio. the wood trim base boards crown molding ballisters and banisters were made by skilled wood workers that are very rare these days. every time i tore some things out there were new surprises to ponder. im enjoying your after work videos very much.
