How to use Bluetooth on stereo paired Sonos speakers

While you can’t create a stereo pair on Bluetooth, you can stream via Bluetooth to existing stereo paired Sonos speakers.

First, you’ll need to create a stereo pair over WiFi. Next, open the Sonos app and visit the Rooms tab. Tap one of the speakers in your stereo pair and enjoy spacious stereo sound with the ease of Bluetooth.

Doesn’t work. Sonos app just says no wifi connection when my Move Speakers are in Bluetooth mode.

Not really answering the question. Will it be playing in stereo (one speaker per channel) or just two speakers both playing left and right channel?

Same issue with move. See no way to connect/group the second speaker after speaker 1 connects to Bluetooth.
Please advise if I’m doing something wrong

This video is confusing. It says you cannot stereo pair over Bluetooth.

Then it goes onto pair them? But the sound is not true stereo? It seems (and I probably have this incorrect) but the demonstration in the video requires one of the two speakers to be on WiFi???

I have $40 Tribit Micro speakers that play stereo sound via Bluetooth. Give the people what they want when you produce a premium product.

Once a pair of Sonos Era 100 is stereo-paired via WiFi, can I then use them as a stereo-paired Bluetooth speaker *without* having WiFi coverage (i.e. Bluetooth only)?

why not make the whole system easier and just allow users to connect via bluetooth?? Never buying another product from you again, we bought a speaker from you for traveling and we can’t use it using the internet from the hotel!

Sonos sounds beautiful but the Simplicity of connections is ridiculous. How do some Sonos speakers not have Bluetooth

So is it possible to pair them in the app and then leave your house/network and use two of them paired? Or grouped? I guess I'm a tad confused on that. I guess the real question is, without a network, is it possible to play two speakers with one device at the same time whether they are "stereo paired" or not

Here's the (MBP) solution with amazing pure Stereo sound:
1. Bluetooth connect one SONOS at a time
2. open Audio MIDI setup and +/configure Multi-Output Device: Left(1) and Right(2) plus any other device
3. in Sound/tool bar (top right) select Multi-Output Device
4. INPUT: adjust the level of each program/source (mixer/preamp)
5. OUTPUT: volume buttons on each SONOS control output level (front-of-house)

Be careful: this effectively bypasses the MBP pre-amp and allows direct signal input into the SONOS.
Always start with low volume before switching (avoid loud peaks).

Can this work with two Sonos Roams in an environment without Wifi?

Planning to buy 2 Era 100 speakers to pair as stereo. Just want to re-confirm, if we play music via Bluetooth to stereo-paired Era 100, is it a true stereo (one speaker is the left channel, another one is the right channel), or 2 speakers just have the exact same sound?

Will it play out of both Sonos Era 100 speakers at the same time?

Can you do this from PC as well, or is it restricted to audio playing from mobile devices because of the app?

Well, thats 73 seconds of my life that were completely wasted. This told me nothing.

The video title is very confusing / borderline scam. Yes, you can use Bluetooth on stereo paired Sonos speaker **but the playback is not stereo sound**.

I think Sonos engineers should shut down the shop and find some work in some restaurant in Palo Alto. This is ridiculous as it can get. My $35 speakers from Oontz can do it why not Sonos?? These guys need to take
Lessons from some Chinese manufacturer. Pathetic. My frustration is through the roof man.

Doesn't work with Move Speakers. Only plays out of one speaker, even though my 2 Move speakers are paired. Very disappointed. Will never buy another Sonos product.

The Era100 should not be advertised as Bluetooth speakers coz they are really bad at it .
I bought a pair of Era100 and paired with Samsung TV, they worked fine for about 45 mins but as soon as I forwarded some of the video I was watching the speakers just went mute, the LED on the Right speaker was blue and even the TV showed it as connected but no sound .
Sonos seems to have really sad quality check for the price of these speakers

I'm going to save you about 15 minutes of your life. Sonos sucks. They don't know how to support their app and they don't know how to support the hardware. They used to be awesome at one time, but now they just don't give a damn.
SONOS SUCKS.
