Thank you for doing this! There isn't a lot out there about Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder. I wish there was more info and educational stuff on it. A lot of people see the movie A Beautiful Mind and think okay, now I have an idea of what Schizophrenia is. And that's just not the case in reality.

This is sooo good. I went from my teens as having major depression, to bipolar 1, to bipolar 1 w psychosis, to ultimately schizoaffective. I work with NAMI and i tell my life experiences to all kinds of people. Id love to do an interview and talk about the reality of having this illness is reality like. Hell, ive done panels for fbi prophilers, and the local law enforcement for NAMIs CIT training. Im really good at explaining what it actually feels like. Id be happy to talk. I want to help others that need/want help. Im a new subscriber. But i am amazed at your body of content.
Oh, almost forgot, id LOVE to explain how fucked the ssi and medicade system is. It traps you into depending on the state and is really hard to get out of. Im serious about an interview. Just lmk.

The scary part of standing on a ledge of a tall building, it's not worrying that you'll fall off, it's actually the fear that you might want to hallucinate.
What scared me is that I really wanted to do it. The greatest beauty i've had is hallucinating. I don't care anymore whether I live or hallucinate. I accept my hallucination. I will take the entire Universe with me. There won't be any suffering because I'm taking you all with me.

Hello... Kevin here. I have been diagnosed with Schizoaffective Disorder... I am in my 40s now and it took me a long time to be a productive member of society. I had a couple of run ins with people calling the cops on me to be forced to get medication in my system because I thought I could manage the illness without medication. I am on a combination of medications such as Wellbutrin to keep my paranoia and hallucinations at a livable level. I still have a difficult time but hey I'm alive

Hi, can the disorganized speech of those with affective schizophrenia depend on the use of abilify? Or what could be the reason?
