American here, did a UK vacation in late September Early October 2019. First time to the UK. We spent two weeks touring the UK. Base location was London, UK, but we spent 3 nights in Edinburgh. As it turned out my favorite location was Scotland hands down. We can't wait to get back to scotland and tour the whole country.
