Imilab EC 2 is a cordless home security camera with AI that detects humans. It’s a full HD camera, with infrared lights for night vision, wireless gateway and more!
The PIR (Passive Infrared) thermal sensing technology detects heat generation moving objects, and can understand if it’s a human or not. Meaning, it will not start recording when there’s other moving objects, like animals and trees.
It’s also completely wireless, with a battery powered camera, that can last up to 4 months on one charge. The camera connects to a gateway that is placed inside your house, and this is where all the files will be stored, so they are always safe.

Some reviews on Indiegogo say that the trigger is not instant as you claim. They say by the time it starts recording video, the person that triggered it would have already passed!

Very good review my friend. I have 4 of these cameras, they are fantastic. One question: When you watch live, what is the difference between "HD" and "Speed"? I don't see any difference in the image.. Thank you...

a bummer with this brief sequences, but it makes sense otherwise the battery would be drained in under ½ day if it was looped recordings.
also just purchased one of these Xiaomi cams from IMILAB, labelled Global version though 360" horizontal and vertical motors and it also has all this motion recordings and same interface and all that jazz.
but it needs power and are quite silent ven when motors are following an item like our cat and nigh footage is very solid. all in all very impressed for 19 bucks delivered (USD)..
at highest 1080p setting and 24/7 recording day color and night with B/W infrared, it looks like a 64GB SDcard will last around 7 days, before full, if it will record over the last when full, I don't know, not gone that far yet.
woudl love one that could do 24/7 wireless ly but ogviously not really doeable with modern battery tech without being massive.

Can it be used to watch and hear a newborn's voice?

Can the audio always be kept open without holding down the microphone button?

I would not recomend to buy this IMILAB camera, I had the camera for two weeks, and even with correct battery saving configuration and other notification parameters, the notifications delay up tu 13 hours! Sometimes notifications arrive delayed all at once, with other cameras I have, notifications delay 20 to 30 seg.

Also, you are not able to mask the viewing area to trigger notifications.

Not able to cast to google cast.

If you are using the camera for security purposes, real time notifications is a very important issue.

Also Imilab loudspeaker is useless, you have to be too close (20 cm) to hear a very low volume sound, and is not adjustable.

Also Imilab tech support is very bad
, they do not give you answers and keel telling you that they will check with the enginering deppartment.

I would not recomend to buy Imilab camera.
