Putin Rejects Trump, Russia Gains: Military Update & NATO Challenges - Ukraine war map

Putin, via Nebenzya, stated that no interesting proposals have been received from Trump’s team regarding the war in Ukraine. Russia appears to be inflating its position to strengthen its stance in future negotiations. In various areas like Pokrovsk, Lysivka, Myrnohrad, and others, Russia has made small territorial gains, particularly near key locations such as Solone, Novovasylivka, and Uspenivka. Russian forces are also making advances in Kurakhove and Velyka Novosilka, though Ukraine continues to repel most attacks. Russia has an advantage in fiber-optic FPV drone technology, which poses a significant challenge to Ukraine’s defense. Despite this, Ukrainian forces are working on developing countermeasures. In Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and other regions, Russia continues assaults but faces resistance. Ukrainian forces have managed to neutralize many of these advances. Podolyak stated that NATO, without Ukraine, has no chance of defeating Russia, citing the psychological unpreparedness of NATO countries for war. He believes Russia is preparing to escalate its actions and could push further into Ukrainian territory. Due to a gas shortage, residents in Transnistria are using electricity for heating. They refuse to buy gas from the West, awaiting a resumption of supplies from Russia, which is struggling to meet their needs.
