You have no idea how many times I argued with people over this. People in working in construction ( or even DIYers) are sometimes very picky on small details but when it comes to the tool they use all the time, they simply don't care. At 100$/ hours they SHOULD. Thanks for sharing this.

At the paper mill I work at back when we had ISO 9001 certification we had to take our tape measures to the office and have them certified on a standardized ruler, we had to engrave our initials and clock number on the tape measure and sign inside a logbook saying our tape measures had been verified

The end of this measure has no sleeve-holes, so it will never slide?

I expected him to complain about how the end moves and that he made the perfect one wich didn't move, guess i've seen too much shorts 😂
