My top 5 Favorite Books in my Book Collection !!

I was recently rearranging my book shelves and as I did so I picked out 5 books that are my favorites. You won't believe how nice the last one is !!

I love hearing about people’s favourite books! It’s so hard to pick favourites, but for myself I’d have to say Good Morning, Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton, The Martian and Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir, The Two Towers by JRR Tolkien, and A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini....and maybe the Kingkiller Chronicles as well.

I have so many favorite books! If I have to choose just five my choice, at least for today, is "Lulu in Hollywood", the autobiographical and historical essays of silent film star Louise Brooks; "Anne Sexton-- A Self Portrait in Letters", the correspondence of the American poet who died in 1974; "Bless This House" by Norah Lofts, novellas about the people living in and around a country house in England from the time of Elizabeth I to Elizabeth II; "Beulah Land" by Lonnie Coleman, about the people both slave and free on a Georgia plantation from about 1810 to the early days of the Civil War in 1861, and "The Only Way to Cross" by John Maxtone-Graham about the history of North Atlantic ocean liners from about 1900 to 1974 when the book was published. Now if you ask me tomorrow I may have a different list!

I don't know if it's still available, but Barnes & Noble used to sell a Stephen King book similar to your Darwin book -- pull-out pages, fun little extras. If I see one next time I'm in B&N, I'll pick it up for you. My own favorite book ... is probably a signed leather-bound edition of The Hotel New Hampshire by John Irving. I've carted it around the country about a hundred times, so it must be my fave!
