The matchmaking is one thing I hope gets fixed in final release when there is inevitably a larger player base. I’m not a fan of having plats in my immortal rank ups but I’m optimistic for the future.

Nice job reaching Radiant on console! I definitely agree with you about the Immortal 3 to Radiant thing. That is definitely too easy for some people. Like you said, hopefully this gets fixed before the full release on console though.

What makes no sense is I can’t play with my friends who are too far in rank, yet they give me teammates the same rank as them

Yeah I was in the limited beta too, I hardly played for a few years before it so I was definitely up against people a helluva lot better than me

Truthfully you just gotta give it time plus its not open to the full public yet once that happnes there will probably be changes making it harder

I have no idea how this matchmaking working, I played 5 games, got 5 mvps and 30+ kills in every match, but got a gold because of bad team and too good enemies so I lost 4 games, and the worse thing is that I had same team and same enemies in different games, what’s wrong with it. So now I should play on gold ranks to dominate regular people?

Definitely feel like it's like this because the player pool is so small I mean it's only those who have access to the beta I'm sure it will be more flushed out and balanced once all the ranks start filling up

I thought about trying console and thought I’d ask a few questions:
#1 is there aim assist, the reason I ask this (I don’t mind if there is or not) I feel it would be really strong
#2 what is the jump like from pc
#3 and how sweaty are the lobbies

If you or someone you’re duo’d with is in a promo game, you should absolutely expect a tougher game and lower ranked teammates because of the promo/ your duo advantage. It’s just the way riot does matchmaking but agree the gap is WAY too big. Just keep it it mind

Me here after a month and its almost the same i dont play comp due to horrible ping in console so full time pc still but console needs a lot of work like better internet, more people and bringing more maps back to the game and more modes

I was top 10 radiant-eu, matchmaking system is literal joke before riot reseted ranks i was complaining about having ascendants in my team but now it got even worse its most likely impossible to win a single game they gotta fix this situation asap or this will def affect the games future badly
