I’m in love with the way he took an entire TV show and just decided to start shitposting with it

The possibility that you'll call back a bit 2 years later is why I'll never get bored with Corrections

Becoming Emmy-unnominated was the best thing to ever happen to this show.

That old callback bit was so delectably detailed and perfect. Felt like I had an inside joke with Seth. This is why I love this show.

I hope someday Seth writes a book about his time hosting the show and we learn that the most stressful part was taking a well-written monologue and purposefully adding in errors that needed to be corrected.
All to feed his jackals that he truly loves.

The defenestration callback actually brought me so much joy 😂

I swear Seth goes out of his way to make this segment the best. Thank you Seth! The old call back is good.

Oh my God. The "old call back" was completely genius. I love this so much. This series is the only good thing to come from quarantine; I adore our resulting terrible, annoying, smart, and witty community.

The fact that his crew gets to have a sit down comedy session with him every week is amazing.

"Give me a second" is a figure of speech called 'lytotes', kind of the opposite of hyperbole. Instead of exaggerating for effect, one diminishes for effect. My favourite example was Courtney Love's quip after breaking up with Trent Reznor. "More like a three inch nail, " she said.

The commitment to stupid jokes is the reason I watch. "That was an old callback" made me laugh out liud

You took your key off your desk therefore it’s now “off key”😂

As an English teacher, I greatly appreciated the "well" joke. Good done, Seth.

13:30 Seth calls me a "helpful jackal"!! After 85 episodes, I finally made it! 😂 (in the comments for episode 84, I provided the quote directly from the book, including the well rings haha). I would like a mug, dark blue, that says "Jackal. But helpful."

It's the genuinely hardy laughter of the writers that gets me. Seth is a real comedian's comedian 😂

Hey Seth, we took a poll and the vast majority of us don’t care what that one jackal said; we like that you don’t rush through Corrections and it can always be as long and indulgent as you wish. We like the long format. Thanks good sir, sea ewe next Tuesday!

The old phone gag absolutely broke me, about as bad as it broke Seth. SO GOOD

That graphic was 100% a paint by numbers, not a connect the dots. As much as I hate saying it, graphics got it right this time.

I literally screamed when I saw that Mac Tonight Jackal. Top notch corrections! Never stop the madness.
