They did a good job with raster, that's real good job. Rtx still looks a bit more natural and softer

omg the lighting in the forest is insane. FINALLY proper lighting in shadowed regions, it looks so fkn good... well, time to get a new PC I guess.

I played the first hour or so yesterday in series x and in spite of the choppy frame rate and bad resolution it still makes a good first impression. There is something about the rough, jankiness of it that is charming.

Honestly a pretty good RT implementation, all things considered. I can get a consistent 1440p30fps with Ray Tracing on, and it looks beautiful. Sometimes I will disable Ray tracing and just play at 1080p60 instead, but both are fantastic.

i was impressed by how well they placed the shadows in the game
in some areas, the rasterization is just more pleasing to look at
and some areas, it's literally better

On pc with RTX gpu inside remember this: always RT + DLSS, never without! Not only for frame rate but even to have RT denoiser (a feature of DLSS). In 2018 when RTX features come out, RT render mode was meant to use with DLSS for frame rate and denoiser (Ray reconstruction is the evolution). For exemple if you use RT + fsr you will get tons of glitch and white points on screen, because Rays cause points in the 3d rendered scene and fsr doesn't have any kind of denoiser AI based like RTX gpus

ooh, i know why, because it's so much pain in the eyes, so u can't look at it even for content.

They did a good job with the backed lightning, but when you play it, you know they made it with RT in mind all the way.

Sadly Ray tracing causes the grass to shimmer/flicker and even though it's gorgeous overall, I had to turn it off due to its problems :(

in darker shadows with some fog, its very noticeable, but apart from that it's all pretty subtle. Not all too much of a difference.

This looks to be by far the most convincing "Raytracing makes a difference" video in recent memory. Most comparison videos like this leave me saying, "Raytracing didn't change anything! It just halved the framerate".

eu tenho duas placas rtx e essa função deixa o jogo absurdamente escuro, porque que essa função não meche apenas com os efeitos de raio, é horrivel ativar essa função em jogos que já são escuros. vale mais apena instalar o reShade e desligar issso !
