I didn't pass mcoles when I was 26. The entire test was BS. 60 sit-ups in a minute, a vertical jump, maybe forty pushups I don't remember and the half mile run that had to be done I think in less than 2 minutes. And if you passed 3 but failed one you failed them all. And the only place that was hiring without a degree was Detroit. Sterling Heights, Clinton Township, all of the suburban communities wanted you to have a degree in something. Basically the whole system phased good people out of a career who would have stayed for the long-term.

It's hard to take these people serious when I hear the narrative. I guess people woke up from their beds one day and said "hey, you know what, I don't wanna work anymore " Yea, ok!

Who is going to sign up for those troubles after the past year and a half? One accusation and your life is turned upside-down. There are better jobs out there.

Maybe someone in a more poorly funded cities I guess.

Not a good idea to hire just to hire police officers..this is how things go wrong without proper training..

I will graduate from Henry Ford College- law enforcement criminal justice AA on May 2022. I’m willing to start January if I don’t need the degree.

This would be a good time for the police department to change the way they police, first, police should not be enforcing traffic violation, since the SECRETARY OF STATE OR DMV Issue the driver testing and license they should be the one's inforcing the traffic law's, then cop's can focus more on real crimes

Praise God for officers, and I thank God for them all the time and each time I see them. Having to deal with disrespectful trouble makes and criminals and putting their lives on the line for you and me is not fun....and not for everyone. So the haters of course don't like justice and peace and order and want to defund....they don't know God. apparently probably come from broken home no father figure to discipline to teach to be a man
