Identifying clouds - Cumulus, Cirrus and Stratus

In this video I explain how clouds are formed and the three main different cloud types, what they look like and how to identify them. I also examine how we can make combinations of cloud types using words like Nimbus and Alto. This is needed for IGCSE/GCSE Geography and generally interesting if you want to understand how the weather work.

Very informative video. Water vapour also condenses from land and not just water bodies. Land often retains more heat than large bodies of water, which in turn creates a less stable atmosphere and alot of rain bearing clouds.

I have a question.. I watched several videos, now, the videos that I watch said that cirrus clouds are an indication that is going to rain within 24 hours, however your video states that there's really no warning of rain in the near future when we see cirrus clouds and I agree with you.. so why would the other video say that it's an indication it's going to rain within 24 hours ? You know that they are spraying the skies and I believe that's why they said it . because after you see those stringy little clouds that were formed by exhaus and God only knows what coming out of jet engines It does rain within 24 hours, because they've planned it ! but I can't believe there telling people this now it's just amazing to me... am I wrong, , not about the Spayring because a lot of people don't agree with me about that but about the cirrus clouds are not in indication that is going to rain within 24 hours, that's not true right ?
