Are you wondering where the best place to view puffins in Newfoundland is? If so, I think we have you covered!

Our last day in Newfoundland saw us asking the same questions. We had looked into this question, and what we found had us searching for the puffins at Elliston.

Elliston is a fantastic place to get some views of the puffins. Puffins live just off shore, so you want to find a location where there is a large, rocky landmass just offshore - and you can find that here.

As you'll see, you'll still want a decent lens if you want to capture these pretty birds by camera, but if you're lucky, one may just come and visit - as was the case when we went.

Sounded real blustery and we got puffins over here too and one of the few birds that I do really like watching. I really enjoy your videos on Newfoundland. Just a question for you. Do you recall how far the walk is from the parking lot to the puffin viewing area? My husband and I are visiting next month. He had a hip replacement about a month ago and I am trying to plan things that are not difficult. Thank you so much!

Cool stuff man, interesting looking animal and cool how they are also found in the British isles. Just googled where they inhabit and they are only in certain areas which is probably why I haven't seen them before. I hope to see them one day!
