We Went Dumpster Diving at an Antique Store!

Hi friends and happy Tuesday! We had so much fun dumpster diving yesterday and found some really cool stuff! It's wild to think about all the amazing items we've found in DUMPSTERS ~ it's really a shame that we live in such a throw away culture, but I hope my channel will help encourage others to give dumpster diving a try. Once you see how much you can save from the landfill, you really get hooked! :D

I think you should develop relationships with local scrappers. You text them a pic and address of appliances or metal finds. They text and pic to you clothes and home goods. Like a mutual aide society, lol. It would further your goal of recycling, save gasoline, and hopefully get you goodies.

Love that you realize homeless do need other things as well. Thrift shops also sell gently used undergarments so the ones that think it is gross in the comments have never been in a needed spot and are fortunate but should not judge. hugs and love.

I work at an antique mall and people throw away so much stuff ALLLL the time so I dive at my work...(my boss is okay with it) they also throw away stuff that get cracked or if stuff gets broken off. I simply just glue things back. Today I have Christmas ornaments, a huge glass chicken, a glass pelican, Christmas decorations, and hand stitched vintage hand towls all from the trash

You are always thinking of others, that's refreshing. If you ever come across adult sized socks, nursing homes appreciate those. Too bad about the doughnuts, people in need really need those calories as sometimes they don't know the next time they will get a meal or something to eat. We don't even have a pantry system like you have and it is an issue because many folks don't like to be known because of prejudice. It's sad. I love what you do Kelly and pray that you are making money so you can meet your own cash flow. Life costs. I would like to see you and your hubby do the 100 dumpsters again, that episode was fun and if I remember you made out well.
