I used a paper towel and rubbing alcohol on the rubber piece and all so good now!

All you really had to do was hit that little rubber part and the spot where it touches the trigger with a little alcohol on a q tip. It’s built up gunk that makes it stick. This video gave me the courage to pop it open so thanks.

I use double foam tape with clear tape on the other side. So far, each one of them are good as new.
It also cushion the vibrations.

I took of the strip which helped and cleaned it with rubbing alcohol, then instead of the trigger, the bumper was acting up, so I disassembled the backside and blew air into it for a while which fixed it, Thanks!

The reason it sticks alot of the time is the rubber piece has a little piece of tape/clear adhesive and it comes off so its just the rubber piece. You can put a new piece of tape down that is the same size as the rubber piece. Yes dirt can also be the issue but if the tape is gone (thin clear piece) then getting the dirt off wont be the only issue. You wont notice at first due to cleaner making the rubber not stick but once its dry it will get warm and gummy and you will notice.
