Hard, technical spars are the only way to give you real confidence, and everyone should do it.
That’s if you don’t mind loosing your basic motors skills at 30

My coach use to say. “Light and technical sparring guys. But you have the right to defense yourself. If there’s blood on the floor. Please mop it up!”

Sparring and training are done to improve technique. Brawling and horseplay are done to increase injury.

The first hard body shot was absolutely fine. Then the taller dude got childish and angry and swung with ad intention, the other dude just reacted and handled it fairly well imo

It was not hard sparring... it was kinda barfight brawl. Both have to get thrown out of class. Period
