While this should keep your engine from blowing up and taking advantage of the e85, what stops the alcohol from eating the lines, pumps, and injectors that aren't stainless?

Ethanol is crappy fuel....I mostly pump at a 1/2 tank in which every third tank I alternate 87 with 88, 91, or 93 which makes the 5.7 purr. I can get over 20 mpg out of non ethanol 100% fuel (hard to find and expensive) ...but knowing this....I believe ethanol is more expensive to run if you get 14 mpg. It all depends on your driving too... I've got 20 mpg out of a 30 gallon top off of 86 octane which is below recommended 87....so that was confusing, again driving factors...but mpg decrease does not mean money savings. Especially because you bought that....If it $100 bucks I can't be sure you'll get your money back.
Try not pushing in your gas pedal more then a 1/2 inch and take a mile to get up to 55, 65, 70, 75, or 80 mph etc....easy
