Euler's Disk looking at colour effects. My grandson decided to play with this today and as I was sitting further away I could see colour effects that I hadn't noticed when I had filmed it before so after he had gone home I had a go to see if I could capture the effects on camera. This session is filmed under daylight and white CFL light. No coloured lights were used and no colouring has been added in editing. The colour effects are created by the holographic designs on the surface of the disk refracting the white light. The angle of the surface in relation to the camera allows different colours to be seen individually.
