Can we talk about how Liquid survived getting the Metal Gear he was piloting destroyed (with like 20 stinger missiles landing right behind him) falling from the top of said Metal Gear, getting shot dozens of times by an M60 and THEN a highspeed car crash and was STILL alive to nearly kill Snake until FOXDIE got him.

I'll never forget this moment, it was 1999, I didn't have a memory card, I was sneaking up to play this shit on a school night, then this happened and my stomach filled with butterflies cause I was barely surviving the boss fights.

Beating this particular part on extreme the first time tested every fiber of my 13yr old self's patience and anger management... especially with my ratchety ass PS1 controller that had no analog sticks!

D-Pad only life was tough for trying to snap onto Liquid before he gets a shot off on ya! Favorite game of all-time.
