Thank you just bought a Toshiba 2tb for music and wasn’t letting me add anything I have a seagate and it was plugs and play but the Toshiba gave a hard time but thanks to your video I was able to fix it thank you!

Thank you!! Worked perfectly. In the beginning it wasn't erasing but then I realised it was because some of the files that I had inside of the drive were open, in case it happens to anyone.

Video definitely helped. Issue I was having is we had a brand new Canvio external and it would connect and show up just fine on my work iMac, but it wouldn't allow me to drop any files in. I erased it (reformatted) and set it up as 'mac(journaled)', and that fixed the issue. My best guess is that it comes pre-formatted for PC. Thanks for the vid!
