I wonder if the line lock was developed by the tire manufacturers and given to Ford as a way to increase their sales volume?

I'm having problems with mine. After I hold the OK and it tell me to engage break firmly and I did. Its literally at the point where I can't go any further and it still doesn't register or initialize. I don't know if my breaks are worn out or something.

So in a manual, am I correct?

-One foot in clutch and other foot on brake.
-engage line lock
-once the front brakes engage, move foot from brake to gas and let her rip?

I don’t have the digital dash in my mustang . So I’m guessing I put my car in advanced track sport mode by double tapping the traction control button right ? Than I continue with line lock right ?

Quick question,
I tried to do this once, and after I let go of the gas the car turned off. I do drive a six speed trans. My question is, what should I do once I let go off the gas? Hit the clutch right after and stay on first gear or put it on neutral? Also, can I do a burnout without going the whole 15 seconds? I'm trying to have as much fun without running my car lol Thanks in advance!

I don’t want to do a complete 15second burnout 7 times a night and burn my tires out. When I’m in the pit and want to release line lock before the timers up; what do I press so I can leave the burnout versus letting off the gas and canceling?

Is like lock available a mustang with a manual transmission, cause in Australia I think they remove the feature

Question Bill...Does using this feature void your factory warranty? I've heard with the Nissan GT-R if you use the launch control feature it will automatically void your warranty.

Idk why my bar does not go all the way up all the bars load except for the last one & they only increase when I step on the breaks all the way down! Does anyone else have that problem? Doesn’t matter if Im in track mode, drag strip or sport mode my bar does not go all the way up
