PITA that when I get a low battery sensor that I either need to correct the issue itself or completely disconnect my entire security system and battery back up to eliminate the consistent chirps. Wasn’t sure how to replace these batteries and now I do so THANK YOU!!!

Thanks for this video. I think it's only important to re-install the sensor in its original orientation in cases where you have a magnet so that the magnet lines up properly with the reed switch. With a plunger type, where there is no magnet and no alignment, I don't think re-installation orientation is important.

What is the wire for? Is it connected to smth or just a part of the switch?
