Opening with "Are you single?" helps a lot cause when you're taken or not interested and some dude comes over and starts dancing around and being a weirdo, it's SO hard to cut him off because even if it was like 10 seconds of him trying to pick you up, he gets pissed off like you shat in his cereal and called his mother a goat...
