Scream VI has screened, and here’s what people are saying about their scream 6 reaction to the latest Ghostface horror movie. Last year the Scream movie franchise was revived with a fifth installment, and just like Wes Craven's original 1996 movie, Scream 5 was simply titled "Scream." Well, it didn’t take long to deliver another one of these horror movies, as the surprisingly-long Scream VI - aka Scream 6 is set to open wide this week. Some individuals, however, have been able to see it, and the Scream VI early reactions are pouring in.

CinemaBlend shared that Scream VI isn’t lacking for bloody moments, and that combined with the narrative tension and compelling protagonists make this a worthy addition to the Scream canon.

Meagan Navarro from Bloody Disgusting issued the wise suggestion that folks should secure their Scream VI tickets for the opening weekend now, as she was delighted by the newest entry.

On the more mixed end up the spectrum, We Live Entertainment founder Scott Menzel said that while people who enjoyed Scream 5 will likely enjoy Scream VI too, he wasn’t completely pleased with the third act, though he also acknowledged it will likely do well at the box office.

Matt Rorabeck from the untitled movie podcast was more positive towards Scream VI, ranking it as one of the better entries in the franchise, as it balanced both the horror aspects and the more amusing moments quite well.

Finally, Collider’s Perri Nemiroff was also among Scream VI’s supporters, writing that she’s glad that Radio Silence Productions has gotten its hands on the franchise, and the latest Ghostface slasher is brutal even by this film series’ standards.

Overall, it sounds like Scream VI is another worth entry in Scream’s history and legacy, though obviously mileage will vary. Meanwhile, the official Scream Twitter account had a special video message to share starring Scream VI actresses Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega directed towards the people who’ve seen the movie early: No Scream VI Spoilers!

The Scream VI cast also includes Jasmin Savoy Brown, Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Mason Gooding, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Samara Weaving, Josh Segarra, Hayden Panettiere (who we haven’t seen in the franchise since Scream 4) and Courteney Cox, along with Roger L. Jackson continuing to voice Ghostface and David Arquette’s Dewey being honored. As with the last Scream movie, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett directed, and James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick wrote the script.

You’ll be able to judge Scream 6 for yourself when it hits the big screen on March 10.

Major props to everyone involved in making these trailers! It's genuinely impressive how high-standard all movies have been and are all worth a watch, especially the ones outside the original trilogy! Even with other juggernauts in horror they would have usually produced one flop by this point, but Scream always has something insane to look forward to! Also, shout out to Mindy, the poor girl cannot catch a break in these trailers, I swear we've seen three separate scenes through all these promos in which I genuinely thought were going to be her death scene: (The train, the apartment, the ladder.) Hopefully I'm wrong on all those fronts, outside of Ortega she's my favourite new addition!

Kinda funny, that GhostFace ends with saying; “Happy Halloween”. Am I the only one who CLEARLY hears the Halloween-theme, starting from 1:12 minute in? If that shit ain’t intentional, then it’s just a truly extraordinary case of an UN-intentional rip-off, lol! 😂 Extremely good fan-trailer here though!!! 🙏
