I really like your series! Just the right pace for me, even though I never had a proper course in abstract algebra. As of now, the only thing that just "appeared" without notice is End(x). That'd be great to have it's definition somewhere in the course. From wiki I assume it is just morphism with same domain and codomain.

why isn't the identity an element of M? my is it a morphism from the signleton to M
