Madara Uchiha is my favorite character. My favorite version of Obito was when he was pretending to be Madara. Madara’s legacy precedes him, and before we got to meet him in reality, we already knew who and what we were in for. A man considered to the Uchiha what Hashirama Senju was considered to the rest of the village, with equally matched power to boot. Their epic battle carved the Valley of the End, something that Hashirama Senju only won because he had a deeper Chakra well. That made me wonder. You know who else has deep chakra wells? The Uzumaki Clan! With all these videos about being reborn with memories floating around, the next logical step was to have a character be reborn as another character. And who better to choose for the first video in this line than the most influential person in all of the Naruto series?

Fun fact: Madara never wanted to do ANYTHING that would harm the world. He was completely convinced that the Infinite Tsukiyomi was able to save everyone, as he thought Hagoromo wrote the current Tablet. The moment he realized it was, in fact, just a technique to kill every being on a planet, he solemnly regretted his actions. (Probably, but he never wanted to do anything but save humanity from itself.)

Madara also wanted a world without war and he didn't do something like that, he did it in such a way as to take the sharigono from Oricimaru, so Madara wanted peace

It honestly doesn't make sense for Madara to go this route. I understand wanting a dark story, but with Madara's knowledge of the truth of what was Zetsu's plan he'd try and find a better way to achieve peace. If anything, he'd go with a plan like Sasuke's by bringing the world together against one enemy. In this case, Zetsu and Kaguya. Then he'd spread the knowledge of the Sage and Ashura ending the curse of hatred.
