I guess this means we will be seeing volta cards sooner rather than later.

The first benchmarks don't look very impressive from a gaming point of view. It gets just under 36k in Fire Strike when overclocked. An overclocked 1080 Ti gets between 31-32k. 15% or less performance improvement for $3000. Granted, it can do a lot more than just run video games, but anybody buying one of these just for gaming is nuts.

Steve, how doing a Kickstarter to raise funds for the Titan V? Have people contribute $1.00 each until you hit $3, 000.00. Then review the card, and raffle it away to everyone who contributed a dollar?

It always amuses me when a company says "THE MOST POWERFUL ___ EVER CREATED" like, if its new then you would expect it to be the most powerful you've created, your not gonna go backwards.

Titan was $1200 now $3000. 1080ti was $800 so 2080ti is $2400 but a great deal still cos we love getting shafted by nvidia

You know how AMD announces its new product prices in various events with excitement cause they know their prices are very good and the crowd cheers etc etc. I wonder how that goes for Nvidia :P Jensen: "And it costs ONLY 3000!!" Crowd: Shocked and silent....

You just know Linus will probably buy 3 to see what the SLI performance is.

Nvidia is just milking Pascal at this point because they have no competition. They're withholding consumer Volta because they don't need to release them yet.

Steve, it's not correct saying the Titan V has 110 TFLOPS of raw performance, since it's only for tensor computing. It can push 13.8 SP and 6.9 DP TFLOPS, which is still massive, but not 110.

Moreover, Google's TPU ( tensor processing unit) has a huge advantage on tensor computing both on perf/watt and perf/size, despite being on an older node.
