110Tflops of performance is tensor performance, no one compare it to cuda core performance and freak out that it's 10x faster lol, it's not. It's a bit faster for most things, 10x is for tensor math like neural net training.

People just chill. This is PURELY an AI acceleration card. It has nothing to do with competition and nothing to do with gaming.

Nvidia has now reverted the Titan series to being for Enterprise uses so they had a place to sell their dysfunctional Tesla chips (which they must have a lot of considering the size of the chip). Volta itself is not a consumer/gaming focused architecture, it contains Tensor cores which are purely for machine learning, coupled with the massive size of the chip means you will not receive Volta in this form. On the contrary, the only gains in gaming the Volta architecture (or more specifically the Titan V) will have is because of the size of the chip. Architecturally, you will see a rather small increase in gaming performance as all they've really done for consumers, is do a tiny die shrink compared to Pascal.

So don't hold your breath for any sort of gaming variant anytime soon.
