The woman in the window and later in the gray top is Rob's wife. He wrote the song for her. Carlos heard the lyrics and said Let me guess, you wrote this for a Hispanic woman, right? Carlos, before his first album came out, played at Woodstock in 1969 and walked out with 400, 000+ new fans with a fantastic, must see performance. Look for Soul Sacrifice and pick the longest version you can find for the entire drum solo. His band was whites, blacks, Hispanics and we all just loved it! Woodstock was a 3 day fest with a planned crowd of 50, 000 but between 400, 000 and 500, 000 people showed up. No violence, a few babies were born and 1 guy died when he fell off a tower of amps. There's several performances everybody should see from that fest. Soul Sacrifice, Jimi Hendrix's Star Spangled Banner, Joe Cocker's With A Little Help From My Friends, 10 Years After's Goin' Home and I'd Love To Change The World.

This song is a 20 out of 10. And it's hard to believe that you have never heard of Carlos Santana. One of the greatest guitarists of all time. The whole album is good, Santana with a different artist on every song. You should listen to the whole thing.

Rob Thomas was in Matchbox Twenty and has several hits in the 90's, you need to check out that stuff. This song here was a collaboration of songs with Santana and different artists on each track, but this song won several awards.
