Great song and great reaction, ADog! Santana is named after the guitarist Carlos Santana and has 40+years of great music. Rob is from a group called MATCHBOX 20. They, too, have a few hit tunes. This collab is fire! Rob married this girl from the video, btw. 😉

The first hit by Santan I recall hearing is "Black Magic Woman" - a popular version of which has Greg Rollie as lead singer. Greg used to pick up Neil Schon (who was skipping school) and bring him to play with Santana. You know and love the band they left Santan to form - Journey. You will love thie rabbithole, too, if you choose to go down it.

This was a great collaboration....Santana is one of the greats...you need to check out some songs he played at the original Woodstock festival like Soul Sacrifice...some of his greats are Black Magic Woman, Evil Ways, and Oye Como Va...

Carlos is one of the GOATS, and there is a lot of great music of his to discover.

Most will probably say, "Black Magic Woman" must be your next song.

Personally, I think his cover of "She's Not There" is amazing.

As somebody else already said Carlos Santana is the man playing the guitar and is who the band is named after. Also I know you're a big fan of Journey, the guitar player for Journey "Neil Schon" was in Santana's band for a couple of years in the early seventies.

Rob Thomas was part of a band called Matchbox 20/MB20, they have some awesome hits: Unwell, 3AM, Hand Me Down, Disease, Back 2 Good, Rest Stop. Rob has some brilliant solo stuff as well: Someday, This Is How A Heart Breaks, Her Diamonds, Little Wonders.
