Nice pen and ink combos this month! My favorite yellow ink is Ferris Wheel Press Buttered Popcorn. I love it in my Pelikan M200 with a broad nib.

My Lamy 14k EF also has an architect character to the tipping.

I currently have Platinum Lavender Black ink in my Platinum 3776 Century Shape of Heart Ivoire M nib. It is a wet ink that performs wonderfully on Tomoe River paper. Nice flow and gorgeous color on white paper in my A5 Hobonichi. I saw you use the Iro fuel paper last week and had to order some. It arrived yesterday and I am anxious to experiment with the quality. Thanks for sharing!

Might I suggest dipping a tooth pick into some white lightning and then into the converter with the sailor ink that will usually break the ink water tension enough for it to write reliably :) My favorite ink is Rhorer and Klingner Helianthis its a lighter ink but it lays down some crazy shading when paired with a generous flex nib :) Hope that helps Take care <3

1. Sounds like you've found some great ink/pen combos.
2. Yellow ink is so problematic when writing. When drawing, I love Sailor Storia Spotlight, but I have to admit it is quite hard to read when you write with it. The many yellow inks with a drop of orange in them are to me personally an unacceptable compromise. I have given up writing with yellow.

I could see some Ferris Wheel Press inks in those yellow pens. I like queen of the castle and wonder wishes (?). They are pretty wet. Not true yellows at all, more gold, green or brown but somewhat sheer but readable.

Bright orange shading ink looks stunning, I have diamine pumpkin but it’s not shady enough in comparison.
