Bangladesh: Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus Sentenced To Jail

Bangladesh’s Nobel laureate, Muhammad Yunus, has been convicted of violating labour laws. A court in Bangladesh sentenced him to six months of imprisonment. Along with him, three employees of his company, Grameen Telecom were also convicted. However, the court granted them bail pending a possible appeal.
