Nicolas Cage Reveals His AI Nightmare

Показать описание
Nicolas Cage has recently spoken out against artificial intelligence, expressing his concerns about AI being used to manipulate his likeness. In an interview with The New Yorker, Cage shared his fears with Susan Orlean, the author of ‘The Orchid Thief,’ which his new film ‘Adaptation’ is based on. The actor recounted having to undergo a “scan” for his upcoming Prime Video series ‘Noir’ and expressed skepticism about its future use. “They’re just going to steal my body and do whatever they want with it via digital AI. God, I hope not AI. I’m terrified of that. I’ve been very vocal about it,” Cage stated. He added, “It is [really scary]. And it makes me wonder, you know, where will the truth of the artists end up?” This concern comes as AI technologies have been used to recreate the voices of late actors like Judy Garland, James Dean, and Burt Reynolds, following the sale of their rights by their estates to AI audio company ElevenLabs.
