It’s a night guard, that’s how it’s supposed to fit. Made specifically for patients that grind or clenched their teeth a night. When there’s wear on the teeth or patient’s chief complaint is jaw locking. Dentist I work with recommended night guards.

Mine was 600. I hate this stupid thing lol. I like putting it in the little ultrasonic cleaner and the little bubble tablets tho. It’s kind of fun. 😂

I have one, but I think the damage has already been done, years of chewing on pencils, bottle caps, etc during middle and high school have messed up my teeth and jaw to the point where a mouth guard doesn’t work, my teeth are getting misaligned and the back ones are going outward causing constant cheek biting, plus my bottom jaw constantly wanting to go into an underbite position every time I open my mouth to yawn.

Idk why more dentists don’t do mouth guards on the lower teeth instead. I was recommended to do lower then someone else told me upper is normal and I ended up with the lower one and it’s slightly awkward to talk but not nearly as bad as it was when I had my retainers

They tried to get me the night gaurd like the one you have, but for whatever reason when we got it back (after casting), it did not fit my teeth. We tried again and it did not fit again. We end up going with another company and I end up getting other type of night gaurd. The one that I have is so bulky, and I cannot close my mouth with thia one.

Supposedly I got one to stop grinding and it cost about $300 but it fits my whole teeth including my gums. I’m starting to think I should’ve gotten this type of mouth guard not the other one
