oh my goodness it's very long for a seemingly simple question

your explanation and transitions are very good !

edit: for some reason the answer can't be graphed like it doesn't appear in desmos

Your explanations and graphics are excellent 👌!

Who would have thought integral of something as innocent as sqrt (tanx) would look so complicated!

Very nice and clear. However, looking up in an integration table 8 min in the video - then I could as easily lookup the original function in the first place. While the solution to the integral of sqrt(tan(x)) isn't obvious, neither are the solutions to the integrals of 1/(x^2+a^2) and 1/(x^2-a^2). So I feel it is a little bit of "cheating", when you turn back to lookup tables for the last 2 integrals. I'm sure you could make an equally clear video of the last integrals.

It's difficult to have the intution to do that second u substitution or breaking the integral by adding 1 - 1

4:00 at this point could you not use either trig sub or partial fractions

Is this formula is true ? it seems if we derive the right side we dont find tge results

I played it at .75 normal speed and it came out just fine!

why cant you do this...
sqrt tanx = (tanx)^1/2
1/2 + 1 = 3/2 so
2/3 (tanx)^3/2 * 1/secx^2 = 2/3 (tanx)^3/2 cos^2x

Talk a bit slower, please....but great video!

A question friend, what program or application do you use to make the videos?

speeding through key steps at beginning.
poor teaching methodology.
1/10.
must try better.
