Does the haze surrounding the illuminated area of the retical impact shot placement?

Outstanding I think as long as you are being smart and accepting that you’re supposed to use the lowest possible brightness settings to accomplish the task. This usually cures the glow

Just got mine today and no illumination at all (Tried 4 different batteried CR2032 - verified with multimeter)... Tried the adjust the prongs and clean the contacts and turning the illumination knob a whole bunch and nothing... Arken responded within minutes to my inquiry and is sending a replacment. I am absolutley blown away at how awesome these guys are. Fantastic glass for the cost and better support than some of the bigger named guys.

Great content and delivery! I would suggest a mic. Either get you a lav mic, or boom a shotgun mic close to you out of frame. You hear the room/echo and it makes the audio harsh to listen to. It will up your content and subscribers. Audio is 70% of a video. You deserve more subscribers and that will help. Keep up the good work! -Gary

Just what I was looking-for. I gotta say, I think they've gotten the glowing issues squared away. I spent 7 hours on various lines today with my new EP-5 with nary an issue all the way up to 6. Man, I love this glass for the money.

I don't notice the glow, I notice a bunch of random red dots all over the reticle, at brightness 4-6 it's very noticeable. Just random bright red dots all around the Christmas tree type reticle

Is the glow still obvious at the same brightness when you are outside or in a low-light setting outdoors? I know red dots are extra glowly when staring at them in a dark room...but then, you aren't really supposed to stare at red dots.

do you actually use the illumination in competitions? so the drawback of a etch and fill illumination is that that kind of bleed will happen regardless of how well you optimize it.

I'm fine with just the center portion of the reticle being illuminated but the fuzzy glow needs to be rectified.

With magnification and illumination at their highest settings, does the haze move back and forth around the crosshairs when you move the scope around a little bit?

Got my EP-5 recently, and the flow is terrible on my scope. Much worse than your pictures. Its basically useless on high magnification, even the lower light settings are bad
