2JZ Swapping my BRZ! (i've kept this a secret...)

A few months ago I stumbled across a great deal on a 2JZ GE engine and of course I couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy one of the most legendary engines ever created! I bought it not quite knowing exactly what to do with it but after quite some time, I've decided to swap it into me 2022 Subaru BRZ. This car doesn't even have 5,000 miles and we are already about to engine swap it LOL

This is what I was gonna do for a long time but The BRZ ended up selling and I couldn't justify spending 1600 bucks for rods and Pistons JUST to handle 600 horsepower. And there's been several Stock 2J cranks handling 1000 horse! Cool build! Awesome video! 2JZGE is the GOAT!

Very cool project! Remember to change out the valve seals since you have the head off already. Also you can change the valve springs if you like and maybe the valve buckets if you want to rev higher. Anyways just some suggestions but it will be nice build for you. Good luck!

You should do white valve covers with gold flake because it'll match with whatever colour you paint the car and you can do matching break calipers

the belt should be a neon or bright purple and the covers should be a nice blue i think that would look nice

Get a clear valve cover like Throtl did with the blue accents. Or purple if you're planning on keeping the car purple

Look at the crank, if you see any black marks it means its no good. Black marks mean metal to metal contact.

First time to the channel, i feel for you dude, these are the chances we take running our engines to the limits. One small mistake and the spoon flips off the grenade. The pin was already pulled by taking it to that level of performance. I have a done up GTI VR6. All we can do is rebuild with the knowledge gained. You have learned to not leave a weak link in the chain. Maybe a 2J swap? Cheers from Canada

I'm leaning towards a nice gold color to just offset from the purple body. Really will make it POP when the hood is up. You'll have people drawn to the engine bay from a distance.
