After 2 years using 3x32“ Triple Screens I switched to Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57“ and that‘s just awesome!
Yes, you mostly do not see the right mirror but you do not need it, there is a Button and a Spotter for that!
What you get is the absolute Immersion!
No Bezels! Just a big wide wind shield between you and the road!!!
Recording this view with correct aspect is impossible because of this large screen but believe me there is no distortion at all, everything looks like in real 😱
No complicated NVidia Surround setup on/off when doing triples or VR!
No cable disconnect/connect anymore!

It is not only the horizontal FOV that is nice, but also the vertical one. It is so cool that you can see the FOV from bottom of the dashboard up to the roof!

I wonder if they will eventually release a 65" or 70" ultrawide. Until I'm able to see both mirrors I'd prefer to stick with triples.

The first guy that installed well his screen, I do it like you my screen is just behind my steering wheel. All of others video the screen is behind the wheel base. I change for this screen and I agree with its amazing for the immersion I play trackir too it’s close to perfect for me .

I wonder if you have the opportunity to do a similar comparison in Assetto Corsa Competizecione?
It is known that this game has even higher requirements than iR and I am curious how many frames will come out on the 4090.
It would also be nice to see some kind of comparison in the form of applied frames in comparison 3x32 vs 57 vx 49, but I do not know if it is possible.

thank you, i have the 49in and was seeing if upgrading was worth it, it is not... as its just 2 32in screens basically... rather than 2 27in. i was hoping to see that right mirror when driving. i use vr but i miss my triples

This thing is equivalent to two 32" side by side. So if you add two 32" screens either side of this screen you basically have the equivalent of a quad screen setup, without having a bezel in the centre 🤔

thanks for the video. been using a LG 42 inch OLED 120hz as my monitor for my rig, i was considering going triple 42 inch but the space i need is absurd. I think i will end up going for this monitor. In the interim, for immersion, i’m using Meta Quest 3 and it’s pretty good when it works.

Can you share your distance eyes to screen and what the FOV is set at. Trying to decide if it is worth the upgrade from my 49" G9. With the 49" I am 29" away and the FOV is 98. It cuts off about half the side mirror and yours is showing it all plus some. I am just not sure if I can get that close with my setup but impossible to tell without knowing your measurements. Thank you!!

I ordered this to replace my triple curved 32’s as well. Supposed to arrive this Tuesday. I wondered what FOV I should expect to get. Noticed yours is set to 125? We’re you running it through HDMI or DisplayPort? With my 4090 I was thinking I’ll probably just set it to 1440p so I can get the 240hz. Hoping they provide an update soon for the 4K at 240hz with my graphics card.

Could you please do another one of these with more single seaters? And prototypes such as the radical and lmp cars if you own them
And if you don’t mind could you do it for slower cars like the mx5 or gr86

From this angle the Lambo cockpit view looks like warping… is it because of this angle maybe ? How you see it ? Is the curve of the monitor distort the image ? Like warping ? 2:14 Lambo

Great set up - I’m thinking of changing my LG C1 48” for ten G9 57”. Do you run a Nividia card? I have the 4090 but conscious G9 57” is AMP free sync but Gsync compatible. Which to fare so in the C1. IR for me will run just above 100FPS with everything on. Hopefully the G9 runs smooth
