Observation: The classic winning by intimidation technique of pounding a shoe on the table to make a point, is ineffective, as demonstrated by Nikita Khrushchev, the Soviet Union’s Premier of the last century. Whether it's a third shoe, or some other pre-planned "surprise" behavior, be aware of such antics. He brings a shoe; you bring the polish. He throws a tantrum, you leave.
