Come a long way. Faced a lot of difficulties but overcame them with patience & courage. Lost my daughter, Preeti in 1993 due to BMT complications. There is a lot of pain inside my heart but I feel that sometimes people have to lose something in life in order to get other things. For me thalassemia is another life. I live everyday with hope that one day all my children living with thalassemia in India will have access to thalassemia treatment & we will move towards prevention of thalassemia in order to achieve zero birth of thalassemia major children.
