How to Solve a Gear Ball

In this video I show how to solve a Gear Ball. The Gear Ball is a Gear Cube shape mod. The Gear Cube was invented by Oskar van Deventer.

Algorithms:
Permute Edges: R2UR2U
Orient Edges: RURURU
Gear Rotation: R4 or R4'

Even though 98% of the time I don't need it I LOVE that your tutorials are so detailed. Down to "This piece is red, yellow, and green." Compared to the usual "put that piece there, then this piece here." It makes it easy to follow for everyone. Beginners included. Although I can solve this puzzle on my own I wanted to refine my solution and I didn't have to think twice about where to go. when I so step 4 the one I focus on becomes right but the rest dont line up. sometime it just doesn't works. HELP!

Im trying step 4 and no matter what I do there will always be 3 gears not rotated correctly is it assembled wrong or am I being dumb

On step 2 when I do a switch it messes it up somewhere else and continues doing that forever so I'm confused.

Just bought it. Sometimes I'd solve it without knowing it, and other times I try these algs. so hard, but they just don't work. I even slowed the video down to see what to do, but can't get it.

on step 2, none of my edges are solved or across from each other. i keep doing the algorithm but its not working.

Probably the best tutorial on YouTube. I hunted for hours to get a decent tutorial and most of them were super naff

Followed your path. I managed to get two opposite sides correct, but the other four have their corner colors switched. My red and purple sides are opposite, so my red corners are on the purple side, and vice versa. Any idea how this might have happened?

I have a problem where edges need to be swapped with opposite edges... like they need to be moved around the puzzle 180º. I can't seem to figure out why this is happening nor do any of these algorithms work for this issue. Is this like a Gear Ball parity?

I can't get this one gear. It just won't turn straight and it's always sideways. It's just one can someone help?

it's the same way of solving the gear cube however step 3 is special here as the parts around to the centers are not available in the gear cube.
