🎶 Discover Szymanowski, Prelude Op.1 No.7 (Moderato)🎶
Karol Szymanowski (1882–1937) was a Polish composer whose music blends late Romanticism, Impressionist influences, and Polish folk traditions. Inspired by Debussy, Stravinsky, and the rich culture of his homeland, Szymanowski created a unique and poetic musical voice.

In this video, I share my performance of Prelude No. 7, Moderato from his Opus 1. This piece is a hidden treasure, full of emotion, lyricism, and a touch of drama (rubato, afflitto, con passione). It’s incredible how Szymanowski captures such depth with his rich harmonies and introspective melodies, and I hope my interpretation brings out the beauty of this work.

Although Opus 1 isn’t widely known, it’s full of stunning music, and I’m so excited to share it with you.

🎙 Recording: Aurélien Miche

👉 P.S.: I want to mention a small mistake in my performance—early in the piece, I played a B-flat instead of a B-natural. Thank you for your understanding, and I hope it doesn’t distract from the music’s beauty!

Just as you said, a gem. Nicely rendered too.

Gorgeous. I’ve never heard this song before. I’ll definitely have to learn it.

Doesn't even sound in C minor - That's the most delicate use of that tonality I probably have ever listened to.
