It's funny that no one seems to remember Survivors when it comes to social security... My daughter, who lost her father when she was 3 months old. Has had NO increase in years, only a $100 decrease. Doesn't qualify for public assistance because of her $278 per month survivor benefit payment. And since I am a single mother obviously her father cannot help and so for this school year husband sent home three times because of the symptoms of covid yet three times testing negative for covid and each time has required a 10-day absence from school which does not allow me to work because I would miss too many days there is no help out there and has been no help because I do not seem to qualify for any of the California stimulus packages and the government seems to forget about the ones who have lost people
