I'm over the mountain in East TN with my youngest son. I had left Asheville a day before the storm hit our area. I was needed in TN due to a family crisis. No one had any idea what was getting ready to happen.
My oldest son and his family is right outside Asheville. 25 minutes north of Chimney Rock.
They are safe . Still no cell service or electricity.
3 years ago I started buying items for solar for them. Praise God. Money well spent.
Depression is starting to settle in . I hope to be able to return soon.
I know I'm very blessed to have been spared the tragedy, but myself and Jeremy are struggling with not being able to go over and help yet.
People are helping people and there are great things happening through that alone.
My deepest prayers are for folks to believe on The Lord Jesus ❤

My husband just became a Christian a couple of weeks ago. He said a huge part of his conversion was watching this world and all of the evil that caused him to turn to Christ. Biblical. We're so blessed.

Please pray for our 18 year old high school daughter Milan. She left home a few days ago with a 35 year old man that she lied to us about for last few months. We are heartbroken over her poor choices and prodigal ways. Please pray for her safety, repentance and salvation. And for restoration with her family.

Please pray for us here in Florida. They are now saying Milton can come in as a 4 or even 5. We are in the cone. We are in the projected path between Tampa and Sarasota.
My husband prayed that those manipulating the weather that they will not have victory on this storm but asking the Lord to show he is God. The Lord keeps showing me Matthew 8:27 that says "And the men marveled, saying, 'What sort of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?'" I am asking Gods mighty hand of protection over this storm. God is still on the throne and not my will but your will O God. Our beautiful Islands and communities are still so devastated by Helene. Love to my brothers and sisters and praying for those affected by Helene. Come quickly Lord Jesus

My area was hit with devastating floods in 2022, not on the large scale like GA, TN and NC but it was our "1 in a 1, 000 year" flood. My prayers and heart goes out to all those hurting right now. I spent time in these areas in NC and TN on vacations. Some of the nicest people i ever met and the most beautiful place i ever seen.
