Junior enlisted guy (E4) here. Maxing TSP out to the full 19.5k is tricky at E4 pay but I did it. I almost put everything in the G fund during the Covid crash in March, but saw your videos and decided to stay in.
I educated myself some more, and decided to put my TSP limits to 50% Roth, 50% Traditional. Stayed at 100% for three months, then went back to my normal 70%ish setting. Net profit on 2020 was 9k.

Hi Jake, I wish I had watched your channel ealier and not have missed the best once in a century opportunity. Unfortunately, I did nothing and kept sideline of the stock market and real estate market until now because of my aversion of high risk.
