I LOVED Tender is the Flesh. It thoroughly disturbed me. I loved it so much that I bought a copy for my boyfriend. I asked him how he liked it and he said "it was okay" i was furious with him 😂

Cabin at the End of the World is fantastic! I love pretty much everything Paul Tremblay has written (except Pallbearer's Club). Survivor Song and Head Full of Ghosts are so spectacular. You also just reminded me that I forgot to add Case Against Satan to my TBR. Added that on now. Great video!

Recently bought “The Shards” (happened to be a signed copy) and “Tender is the flesh” due to your recommendations. Regarding Ellis, I have only read “American Psycho, ” but I I love both the novel and film adaption. I am starting with “tender is the flesh” as it is a bit shorter. Out of curiosity, where do you get your book recommendations from?

I've been wanting to read The Case Against Satan for ages!
My favourite books this year have been Katie by Michael McDowell and Into The Drowning Deep by Mira Grant!

I enjoyed Maeve Fly. I thought she fumbled the ending, but of everything I read this year, I think this is one that stuck with me for the longest time.

I've read American Psycho and Less Than Zero so I'm so excited for The Shards. I'd say Tender Is The Flesh may also be a commentary on how animals are treated when they go from living beings to products and how humans have accepted this blindly and just go along with the "fact" that its what they were put here for.

I really enjoyed The Case against Satan. In some ways it was better than The Exorcist. Short, sharp and to the point.

"The Cabin at the End of the World" was just an OK read for me but can understand why some people love it. Its because of that ambiguous ending that I gave it 3 stars. I actually think I have the "Whisperman" somewhere. I'll have to dig it up and pull it out. There is something about just the thought of "Tender is the Flesh" that keeps me away from it. Im in the middle of another crime series (Tony McLean) and usually as with any series that I enjoy, I get so obsessed with it that I end up not reading anything else until I'm finished with it. Im a weird

I read The Surgeon when I was like 13; I had picked it out at Goodwill when I bought a massive thrift book haul. It was such a good book though! 😭😂

One of my favorite books of this year is Sister, Maiden, Monster! It's a wild ride, lol. It's a brutal feminist lovecraftian post-post pandemic apocalypse story. It is just so out there and wild, check it out, you might dig it :)

How do I get my books into your hands?

I hated the cabin in the woods so much. It is a bad book and the author did a bad job. It was acutely painful to endure it and I had to stop
