The chief engineer said they had to go mid engined as they reached the FR layouts maximum performance capabilities.

The Corvette was always aimed at being equal with supercars for performance, it was never an out an out muscle car so I'd say it's now firmly in the supercar box.

Looks great and bang for your buck. I'd buy this over a sports sedan (C63, M3) anyday..

As good as these are, and I admit I love them, when the Z06 arrives with it's quad cam, flat plane crank, four valve arrangement engine they truly will be the equal of anything from Europe.

Speaking as an American who lives in Melbourne, the Corvette is not, has never been, nor will ever be a muscle car. It has always been a sports car that Zora Arkus Duntov wanted to be a mid-engine supercar. Now that it is, it's blurring the line between sports car and supercar. (Side note) Hearing these prices is weird, considering this car is around $67, 000 back home...

What a beautiful car! Well Done Chevy and about time they were made in Right Hand Drive. Good value also.

Nice to see V8's like this are still being built. Not everyone has drunk the EV Kool-Aid

God I just wish we got them in Australia closer to what they sell them for in the states where they retail for $72, 000 USD

I agree, it is the best looking Corvette ever! I does look like a Super Car worth about $250.000. I wish that we could afford one!

What are the options on that model. I'm interested in the paint colour, and the colour of the racing stripes... Thinking of going white paint but not sure of stripe colour. Thanks.

Hello from Atlanta, Georgia USA. Great review of the great new C8 Stingray. I've had mine on order 16 months now. Now they say it will be a 2023 model. My Z51 2lt will be around 90K here. They will start making the 2023s May 16.

They say that imitation is the greatest form of flattery. Ferrari must be very flattered!

Hi everyone from Canada, I got my C8 in 2020 and you are not going to believe how good this car is! It was my 7th Corvette. Unfortunate that you have to pay so much more to get a right hand drive one in Australia and New Zealand. There is much more coming with the Corvette and I am currently waiting for 3 more of them.
